Pizza Timeline Infographic Template
Pizza's story from 17th century Naples to 1958 runs down a pizza timeline infographic. A tall dotted line passes ten moments in pizza history, each with a date and a small drawing.
What's on the infographic
- A Pizza Timeline title with a short intro on what pizza is
- Ten stops from the 17th century to 1958, including Pizza Margherita in 1889 and Chicago-style deep-dish pizza in 1943
- A food drawing at each stop, such as a pizza slice, a brick oven, a menu and a chef
- A maroon footer with Twitter, Facebook and Instagram handles
A pizza shop can hang it by the counter or post it on its social feed. You can also use it in a history or food class, where your students follow one dish across three centuries.
The years sit on the left and the headings on the right, with a drawing on the center line between them. Each stop has a bold heading and two short lines of text under it. Those lines are sample text, so write your own note for each date. You might add where the event took place or why it mattered to pizza lovers. If you run a restaurant, you can add a final stop for the year your own shop opened. The intro under the title is a good spot for one line about your shop. Then put your own handles in the maroon footer.
You can edit the dates and the colors in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or Illustrator.
