Phases of the Moon Space Infographic Template
Eight moon shapes run down a dark night sky in a phases of the moon infographic, from a waxing crescent through the full moon to a new moon. You get one tall page that walks your readers through the whole cycle.
What's on the infographic
- A large Phases of the Moon title in yellow
- Eight moon drawings in a column, each with a phase name
- A heading and a short block of placeholder text next to each phase
- A yellow footer with Twitter, Facebook and Instagram handles to fill in
Science teachers can print it for a classroom wall or hand it out before a night sky lesson. You could also share it on a school blog or a page for young stargazers.
The moons sit on the left in a single column, and a thin line joins each one to its heading on the right. Under every heading there is a short block of placeholder text. Replace it with one or two sentences about that phase, such as what part of the moon is lit and when you can see it. Keep the language simple if your readers are young. The headings are already set in bold yellow capitals, so you only need to write the notes. The yellow footer has three spots for your social handles. Put your own names there, or delete the bar if you plan to print the page.
You can write your notes in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, and you can change the moon drawings in Illustrator.
