Environmental Deforestation Infographic Template
What deforestation is and what it does fill one tall environment infographic. Four stacked panels in dark and forest green take your reader from a definition to its effects.
What's on the infographic
- A Deforestation header with a short definition and an axe cutting a tree root
- A Why Deforestation? panel that names lumber, farming, mining, oil and dams
- An Abiotic Effects list: soil erosion, water chemistry, greenhouse gas emission and the water cycle, beside cracked dry ground
- A Biotic Effects list: biodiversity loss and effects on indigenous people
- A website line at the bottom you can replace with your own
You can hand it out in a geography or science class, or post it for an Earth Day project. It reads well on a phone too.
The panels switch between a dark teal and a forest green, and each one has a big white heading. Start at the top with the definition next to the axe and the root. Then read the Why Deforestation? panel and keep or rewrite its single paragraph. The two effects panels use short arrow lists, so you can add a line or remove one with ease. The drawings sit on the right of each panel, from the cracked ground to the crossed-out seedling. You can swap any of them for a picture from your own lesson. Change the website line in the footer to your school or your page.
You can rework its text and pictures in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or Illustrator. Download it with a free 7-day trial.
