One-Page Business Plan Template
The core of your business plan fits on a single page in a fill-in business plan template. Labeled rows sit beside empty cells, so you only add your own answers.
What's on the page
- A Business Plan title on a soft cream background
- An Overview block with rows for Vision, Mission and Product
- A Market Analysis block with Target Market, Target Problem, Solution, Competitors and Advantages
- A second Market Analysis block with Internal Factors and External Factors split into strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats
- A Marketing Plan block with rows for Marketing Channels and Marketing Materials
Founders use a page like this before they write a full plan, or to explain a new idea to a partner or a lender. You can also give it to students in a business class as a first exercise.
Work through the blocks in order. In Overview, write one line for each of the three rows. The first Market Analysis block asks who you sell to, the problem you solve and how you solve it, and then who you compete with and why you win. The second Market Analysis block is a small SWOT grid, with Internal Factors on the top row and External Factors below. Last, the Marketing Plan block gives you two cells per row, so you can list two channels and two kinds of material. Rename any row if your plan needs a different heading.
You can fill it in and change the colors in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.
